ATIS Group partnered with Qualitando to design and develop a custom system for automated email marketing campaigns—streamlined, intelligent, and aligned with user preferences. The primary goal was to enhance the client’s ability to engage hotel guests post-stay through highly personalized newsletter distribution.

Client Goal & Challenges

Qualitando sought to automate the process of sending targeted newsletters to hotel guests based on customer data from their existing hotel management system. The system needed to:

  • Pull and process user data automatically and periodically.
  • Create dynamic customer segments based on interests and preferences.
  • Allow marketing teams to schedule and send customized email campaigns.
  • Be built entirely using .NET technology and MongoDB, as per internal preferences and infrastructure compatibility.

The challenge lay in building a solution that could interface seamlessly with the hotel data source, provide full template and schedule management capabilities, and support multiple languages for international operations.

Solution: What We Built

ATIS Group delivered a robust web-based application built with C#, Blazor, and MongoDB, fully aligned with the client’s technology requirements. The system was developed by a focused team of four developers and included the following features:

  • Automated Data Ingestion: A scheduled job retrieved customer data from the hotel management system and stored it in MongoDB, ensuring the platform always had updated user records.
  • Template Management: Marketing users could create and manage newsletter templates based on audience types, guest behaviors, or promotions.
  • Smart Audience Segmentation: Guests were grouped according to their preferences, allowing for highly personalized email targeting.
  • Scheduling & Campaign Control: The system enabled manual or automated newsletter delivery, giving users control over frequency and timing, whether one-time or recurring.
  • Multilingual Support: A translation system ensured that newsletters could be created and sent in multiple languages.
  • Role-Based Access Control: User roles and permissions allowed for secure, structured access and control over different system functionalities.
